Joan Chittister was interviewed recently by Oprah Winfrey for a return visit to her Super Soul Sunday program. The interview focused on Sister Joan’s recently released book, The Time Is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage (Random House). Sister Joan made her first appearance on Oprah’s show in 2015, her latest appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday program is scheduled to air for the first time on Sunday, May 26 on OWN TV at 11:00 AM EST. It will run again on Sunday, June 2 at noon.

Mercyhurst University’s Joan D. Chittister Lecture Series will present Joan Chittister: Her story, my story, our story, on May 3, 2019, at 7 p.m. Written and performed by Teri Bays, this performance is a one-woman play about the intersecting lives of women facing adversity, abuse, and injustice. Joan Chittister will respond following the presentation. This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
